Costa Rica's Manuel Antonio National Park, on the central Pacific coast, was named one of the world’s most beautiful parks in a new issue of Forbes magazine.

Adventure travel writer Matt Villano and national parks expert and Ovation Vacations President Jack Ezon, helped compile the list of “the 12 most dazzling national parks to grace the globe.”

Manuel Antonio is the only national park on the list from Central America. Located south of Quepos, the small biological peninsula is the perfect place to encounter capuchin and squirrel monkeys, two-toed and three-toed sloths, iguanas and exotic birds.

Although Manuel Antonio is the smallest park on Forbes list, it is the most popular. More than 143,000 people visited the park last year.
